Parent Training

Parent training is an important component of any successful ABA program for your child.  and can be instrumental in your child’s success. Parent training is essential to allowing your child to use the skills learned during therapy sessions outside the sessions.  Parent training has many benefits and can be done in many different ways.

Benefits of Parent Training:

• Increase your child’s communication

• Decrease problem behaviors including self injurious behaviors, aggressions, stereotypy

• Increase independent skills

• Generalize skills to family outside of therapy sessions

• Learn basic principles of reinforcement to increase skills
